Blost Post 3: Stories
Most of the stories
regarding El Chupacabra are extremely similar to each other. Some are as
identical as they can get and others are a bit too strange for anybody to believe.
Most of the stories start out by eyewitnesses reporting missing livestock or finding
them drained of blood. In each sighting there is little to no evidence found,
which created the buzz regarding the existence of El Chupacabra. Stories go back
to the mid-1900s when the first sightings of El Chupacabra occurred in Puerto Rico.
Since then sighting all across South America, Mexico, the United States, and
even some areas around the world have had their share of stories.
According to the article written by Stephen Wagner, the first story ever told about El Chupacabra was in March of 1995 on the island of Puerto Rico, when eight sheep were discovered
dead and drained of blood completely. At first the people of the town believed
that the sighting was of a normal animal feeding on livestock, but when investigators
notice several abnormalities with each killing, the legend of El Chupacabra
began. A year later in 1996 sighting of El Chupacrabra reached the United States
for the first time. The incident occurred in a rural area northwest of Miami, Florida.
Reports suggest that more than forty animal where found dead and drained of
blood throughout the area. Expert can’t explain such phenomenon, but they hope
that they can get enough evidence in the future throughout all the different

Blog Post 4: Evidence
There has been many sighting of El Chupacabra in different countries for the past decade. Many of these sightings have been misidentification of actual animals with intense mutations .One sighting in particular caught the attention of many on August 8, 2008.When Dewitt County deputy Brandon Riedel and his partner were patrolling a deserted back road when they came across a mysterious creature running in front of their squad car. According to Riedel the creature “[was] hairless, with a long snout, short front legs and long back legs”. Once both Riedel and his partner notice the creature’s unique features, they turned on the dash camera and recorded the following video.
Since then the Dewitt Sheriff Department does not know what deputy Riedel caught on camera that Friday afternoon near Cuero, Texas; but they do know that whatever it was will create sighting around the county and bring the legend of El Chupacabra back to life. Riedel said that “he's willing to work with credible researchers… Who want to look at the video.. And help solve this mystery” and bring the legend to El Chupacabra either to an end or to a new beginning.

Blog 2:Background
The stories of El Chupacabra
(which translate to “goat-sucker”) first surface in March of 1995 on the island
of Puerto Rico located in the Caribbean Ocean. The stories began when the
bodies of goats and other livestock started to appear drained of blood with
two puncture holes around their neck. At first residents began to suspect that
is was all part of satanic groups performing rituals, but as more stories began
to surface around the entire island, the residents came to realize that it was
more than satanic acts. Later that year in August, a magazine published the
description of the creature made by an eyewitness named Madelyne Tolentin. According
to Tolentin, the creature is “ 4 to 5 feet tall with spikes
down its back, long, thin arms and legs, and an alien like oblong head with red
or black eyes”. Shortly after the description was published different sightings
of the creature began to surface around in places such as Mexico, Latin America,
and some parts of the United States. It is believed that this legend expanded to
other countries around the world due to the introduction and the starting
period of the Internet. Today, the sighting of the creature keep occurring
all across the world, but the description of El Chupacrabra has changed.
According to recent eyewitness, El Chupacabra is “a hairless, snarly-looking
four-legged creature”. The legend of El Chupacabra is told in many ways but its
origin and background should be the most important story told and passed down
from generation to generation.
